Tali Duckworth

is an freelance trumpet player based in New York City. Tali just closed the North American Tour of Mean Girls the Musical where she held the lead trumpet chair from May 2024 - June 2025. She performed over 250 shows in 65 cities across the United States, Mexico and Canada! 

Tali has performed in venues including the Peacock Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles, EastWest Scoring Stage in Hollywood, Centro Cultural Teatro 1 in Mexico City, MX, The National Theatre in Washington, D.C., The Auditorium in Chicago, IL, and The Golden Gate Theatre in San Fransisco, CA. 

In May, Tali graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Music in Trumpet Performance. She graduated with honors and was an Academic Achievement Award recipient. 

Tali was a member of the USC Trumpet Quintet. The group competed in the 2023 National Trumpet Competition in the small ensemble division and were awarded first prize for their performance of Erik Morales' Cityscapes. 

Tali is an alumna of the Interlochen Arts Academy where she studied with Ken Larson and was under the direction of Leslie Dunner in brass repertoire and mixed ensemble.
