Talitha Duckworth

Tali Duckworth, 

is an LA-based trumpet player who currently holds the solo lead trumpet chair on the North American Tour of Broadway's Mean Girls the Musical.

When back in Los Angeles, Tali studies under Tom Hooten, Jennifer Marotta, and Michael Stever at the USC Thornton School of Music. 

Tali is a member of the USC Trumpet Quintet. The group competed the 2023 National Trumpet Competition in the small ensemble division and were awarded first prize for their performance of Erik Morales' Cityscapes. 

Tali is an alumna of the Interlochen Arts Academy where she studied under Ken Larson and was under the direction of Leslie Dunner in brass repertoire and mixed ensemble. 

At USC Tali performs with the Thornton Symphony, Thornton Winds, Thornton Edge (contemporary music ensemble), Concert Jazz Orchestra, Jazz Combo, Brass Quintet, the USC Trumpet Quintet, and other various ensembles.
