Tali Duckworth, 

is a current Junior at the University of Southern California studying Classical Trumpet Performance in the Thornton School of Music. Tali studies with Tom Hooten, Jennifer Marotta and Michael Stever. She and receives coachings from Doug Tournquist in brass quintet. 

This past summer Tali held the Trumpet I chair at the College Light Opera Company in Cape Cod. Over the summer CLOC put on 9 fully staged productions including Singin' in the Rain, The Little Mermaid, and 9 to 5!

Tali is a member of the USC Trumpet Quintet. The group competed the 2023 National Trumpet Competition in the small ensemble division and were awarded first prize. 

Tali is an alumna of the Interlochen Arts Academy where she studied under Ken Larson and was under the direction of Leslie Dunner in brass repertoire and mixed ensemble. 

At USC Tali performs with the Thornton Symphony, Thornton Winds, Thornton Edge (contemporary music ensemble), Concert Jazz Orchestra, Jazz Combo, Brass Quintet, the USC Trumpet Quintet, and other various ensembles.
